Many individuals participated in making this project a success.  It was the brain child of Margaret Garrington of Ashland, Oregon.  The LOOZA BottleProject became a community statement about waste and recycling.  The art installation that examines consumption habits is on the move again.
The artist, Margaret Garrington, recently met with LOOZA representative, Filip Dewulf, in Brussels to discuss an artist residency that would facilitate creating a European LOOZA BottleProject in the fall of 2010.  The goal is to bring U.S. and European trash together in the iconic Looza juice bottles at a Belgium location in the spring of 2011.  LOOZA BottleProject creatively filled over 400 elegantly shaped vessels with something normally thrown away, and encourages consumers to make recycling and reduction of waste a part of their daily routine.  Imaginative and original, each vessel gives form to the formless and are amusing, amazing, and at times, outrageous.
