Gallery Opening

Alas, Midtown Gallery has closed!  The shop will relocate a few blocks away sans gallery.  The good news is that even though they will not have a gallery, they will continue to support the 2nd Saturday Art Walk with a one-night opening!  Read about our legacy in my blog at:

That makes 3 galleries in as many months!  Joyce Doiron retired last month and closed the Doiron Gallery.  The 404 Gallery recently closed it’s doors as well. These venues will be sorely missed and it has left a void in the local art scene.  I am continuing the 404 Gallery on the Internet as a virtual gallery and it is open to all artists that have been part of a gallery that has closed.  Contact me for details.

I see humor in even bad case scenarios.  Have you ever clicked on an Internet link only to get a ‘404 Error’?  That means that the connection is no longer valid.  Many artists have been 404’d by these gallery closings!  I am inviting artists that do not have a location to show their artwork (very cheaply).

This will be a venue that will continue long after me.  No one should ever be 404’d again.  Open to artists that have already been in an established gallery.  More to come!
