Great Art Born in Great Conflict © by KC Moore

June 17, 2011

We think of artist like Van Gogh in correlating magnificent art and personal trouble.  I believe it is true in all aspects of art: writing,  music, dance, etc.  I have just run across a current day example and am compelled to talk about it.  This is a story of the desire to live and the value of a single person.  Many will become hopeless, depressed and give up when life is tough.  Life is unimaginable for millions of people in the world today with the tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanoes, floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, fires, etc. etc.

Every day we read about yet another financial crisis, disease or tragedy.  We can live our lives focusing on fear, escape through pharmaceuticals or decide to face life head on.  This young man could have given up at age 5, but by some inner strength he arrives on our doorstep with an amazing gift and story.  I encourage everyone to watch the attached video and gain inspiration to overcome whatever personal difficulties you have.  We all have them and I think we can/should encourage each other while we inhabit these mortal bodies.

Watch and prepare to be inspired.  http://wimp.com/greatchallenges/
